The Transformation

A real APMBuild project — drag the slider left to see the original rear elevation, right for the finished build. No staged renders, no stock photography. Same camera angle, captured before the first hammer and after the last bolt.

Saxon Gate rear elevation after APMBuild rebuild — two large dark aluminium sliding patio doors framing a central brick pier with security light, opening onto a timber deck Saxon Gate rear elevation before APMBuild rebuild — original brick wall with a single small uPVC casement window and narrow uPVC door, decorative hanging hearts and patio furniture Before After
Saxon Gate, Hereford — rear elevation reworked from a single uPVC door and small window to two full-height aluminium sliding doors. The brickwork around each new opening was rebuilt and toothed in; you can see the slightly fresher mortar lines on the after frame.

ICF Foundation Works Near Ledbury, Herefordshire

Lammi Tassu ICF Foundations — Passivhaus-Grade Insulated Raft

Foundation works using the Finnish Lammi Tassu insulated raft system — high-thermal-performance ICF blocks delivered direct from Finland, set on a precision-engineered perimeter. The system eliminates thermal bridging at the slab and is a fabric-first prerequisite for the airtightness targets of Passivhaus and EnerPHit construction. Foundation phase delivered to mm tolerance. Project subsequently paused at client request; superstructure not constructed by APMBuild.

EU materials Poland to Herefordshire

Direct EU Materials Supply

APMBuild routes high-performance construction materials from established Polish, German and Austrian manufacturers directly to UK sites — insulation boards, AAC structural blocks, render systems, triple-glazed windows and doors. This cuts material cost by 20–30% versus UK builders' merchants while raising spec to Continental Passive-House grade.
