Completed work, photographed on the finished result — Herefordshire and beyond.
Nine real APMBuild Ltd projects: open-plan kitchens, microcement bathrooms, larch-clad new builds, hand-detailed extensions, and prefabricated strip-footing foundations near Ledbury — plus our direct EU materials supply chain.
A real APMBuild project — drag the slider left to see the original rear elevation, right for the finished build. No staged renders, no stock photography. Same camera angle, captured before the first hammer and after the last bolt.
Full ground-floor remodel and rear extension delivering an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge with feature onyx slab walls, integrated LED ribbons, quartz island, and a re-rendered facade with bi-fold doors. The client gained a contemporary, light-filled family space with a luxury hotel-grade finish — split-stone feature wall, slatted timber acoustic panels, and hand-detailed plasterwork.

Reconfigured ground floor with engineered oak flooring, built-in lounge storage and a polished hallway plus two upstairs bathrooms finished in microcement and dark slate-effect porcelain with concealed purple LED accents, vessel sinks on oak vanity and black towel radiators. Family home delivered with a calm, modern living downstairs and spa-style bathing upstairs.

Multi-element estate upgrade: curved sandstone front steps with inset LED treads, a raised steel-and-composite viewing terrace with stainless cable balustrade, an indoor split-stone-wall kitchen with bespoke joinery, and a backlit blue-LED water-feature wall set into the patio. The client received a connected garden-to-house experience with statement architectural features at every transition.

New detached building housing a twin garage on the ground floor and a full first-floor suite — office, kitchenette and bathroom. Larch shiplap cladding, slate roof, and a sett-paver block driveway laid in a fan pattern. Solid oak floors and bespoke balustrade upstairs; black-and-teal feature bathroom. The client gained an additional fully serviced workspace tied visually to the main house.

Foundation works using a prefabricated permanent (lost) strip-footing formwork system — pre-reinforced form units, sourced direct from the EU, set out on a precision-engineered perimeter and poured in a single day, with no formwork to strip and no demolition waste. Foundation phase delivered to mm tolerance. Project subsequently paused at client request; superstructure not constructed by APMBuild.

APMBuild routes high-performance construction materials from established European manufacturers directly to UK sites — insulation boards, AAC structural blocks, render systems, triple-glazed windows and doors. This cuts material cost by 20–30% versus UK builders' merchants while raising spec to Continental Passive-House grade.

Interior modernisation of a traditional Herefordshire cottage with a new shaker-style grey kitchen on a fresh white-subway-tile backsplash and concealed LED under-cabinet lighting, plus a converted attic bedroom with exposed timber beam, anthracite alu-clad window and Velux rooflights. Light, contemporary finish that respects the cottage's existing character.

Large rear-garden stone-flag patio with a curved brick-edged planter, bedded on a free-draining sub-base. Delivered as a clean, low-maintenance outdoor entertaining surface that ties into the existing house threshold.

Two completed elements at this property — a rendered single-storey rear extension with a glass-ridge roof and matching grey-tile elevation, and a brick-tiled orangery with full-height glazing onto the rear garden. Bright, modern garden-rooms that doubled the family living footprint.

A complete garden gym built from the ground up on the Herefordshire–Gloucestershire border — footings, blockwork, insulated flat-roof structure, silicone render and aluminium bi-fold doors, finished inside as a fitted home gym with wood-effect flooring and day-night blinds.

All completed projects shown here are in Herefordshire and on its borders — Gorsley, Dormington, Putley, Foy, Lea and Hole in the Wall around Ross-on-Wye and Hereford, the Saxon Gate refurbishment in Hereford itself, ICF foundation work delivered near Ledbury, and a rendered garden gym building in Newent on the Gloucestershire side.
Often, yes. Several past clients are happy to show their finished work by arrangement, and for larger enquiries we recommend it — photographs flatter everyone; site visits don't. Ask when you get in touch and we'll see what's practical near you.
Because we haven't completed one yet, and we won't dress the portfolio up to suggest otherwise. EnerPHit-route deep retrofit and Passive House new build are services in development, with first projects being scoped — built on PHI-accredited training, PHPP pre-assessment and a European component supply chain that are all in place today.
Every APMBuild project carries a 24-month workmanship warranty, with manufacturer warranties passing through to the client — up to 50 years on roofing systems, up to 10 years on windows and doors, and up to 5 years on insulation systems. Handover includes full documentation.
Yes. Photographic site records are part of how we build — including the stages that get covered up, not just the finished rooms. Clients follow the whole record live through our Project Room portal during the build.
